FAQ for Students

Sure, but keep in mind, you should get a letter from a professor who knows you well. If you were in my class 2 years ago, and there were 200 other students in your class, I'm sorry but I probably don't remember enough about you to write you a great letter. If you think I'm the best person to write you a letter, then you should fill out this Google form.

I do occasionally take undergrad research assitants, but you need a lot of background to do research with me and have a productive experience. At minimum you should have taken abstract algebra (MATH 302 at Middlebury). I would also like to get to know you a little bit first and understand your interests and goals.
