"Rose Morris-Wright is one of the most enthusiastic and caring professors that I've had during my time at Brandeis."
"Rose weaves together an engaging curriculum, complementing the intricate nature of math with step-by-step examples and insightful tidbits that give the coursework curiosity, meaning, and a sense of real-world application. Her inclusive classroom environment and enthusiasm to teach inspire even the most math-weary students to learn."
"Rose was excellent, she was always available to help me, very encouraging, and great at explaining things."

My teaching philosophy is based on the following principles. My implementations of these principles are rooted in evidence-based teaching practices and supported by student feedback.
Community-focused active learning I teach using a flipped classroom style that allows for more class time spent on group work and active learning. I believe that creating a community of learners where students can reach out to each other is an important part of increasing students' success.
Standards-Based or Specifications grading I believe that success in the class should be measured by a student's progress towards well-defined objectives, rather than by ranking or comparative methods. These grading methods encourage a growth mindset and allows students greater flexibility while maintaining rigorous expectations for students' achievements.
